FaZe, NAVI secure Major spots

karrigan to play in front of home-crowd

As the EU RMR A slowly comes to an end, we also have a growing list of teams who have already booked their post in the inaugural Counter-Strike 2 Major, the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.

G2 were the first team to book their spot in the Copenhagen Major and Virtus.pro also booked their spot in Copenhagen day before and it was karrigan's FaZe, KOI and Natus Vincere booking their spot yesterday.

FaZe went up against Eternal Fire and the Turkish team scared FaZe on Overpass, pushing them to overtime but FaZe hung on for a 19-17 win before wrapping things up on Nuke with ease at 13-5 to swiftly close out the series.

KOI faced fnatic and mopoz and co. pushed fnatic to overtime on Vertigo to take the map 19-16 before moving to a comfortable 13-7 win on fnatic's pick of Ancient to secure their spot in the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.

Natus Vincere were the final team to finalise their Major spot yesterday after a 2-1 win for AleksiB and squad over BetBoom. After a lopsided Overpass which saw NAVI take a 13-4 win, BetBoom bounced back on Anubis taking a 13-8 win to push the series to a decider. On Nuke, AleksiB's stellar T-side calls proved enough for NAVI as they closed it out at 13-7 to secure their place in Copenhagen.
