Grayfox secures consecutive berths in the Masters Finals
The second semi-final of The Dust2 India - 1XBET Cup Masters 7, with our Broadcast Partner Blink Entertainment featured a head to head between Carnival Gaming and Grayfox Esports, that saw Grayfox run through their opponents with a quick 2-0.
Grayfox got the ball rolling early on the CT side of the first map Anubis, chosen by Carnival, by claiming the first three rounds. While Carnival Gaming was able to break through with round wins, they failed to get hold of momentum, resulting in an 8-4 deficit at the end of the first half. On the other, Grayfox set the example on the T-side, winning the map with a 13-4 score, without conceding a single round on the T-side.
Next up was Grayfox's map pick of Inferno, where they unleashed wrath on the CT side of Carnival. Despite kicking off their T-campaign with a 0-4 deficit, they strung together 10 rounds in a row to lead 10-4. While Carnival retaliated by closing the gap to 11-9, Grayfox regained control towards the end to close out the map 13-9 as rite2ace closed things out with an incredible quad-kill.
