Rare Atom eliminated from PGL Bucharest 2025 by Falcons
After starting their PGL Bucharest 2025 campaign in style with a stunning 2-0 win over Virtus.pro (VP), Rare Atom have been eliminated from PGL Bucharest 2025 following their loss in their elimination game against Falcons. Rare Atom leaves the tournament with a 1-3 record, failing to win a single map after their opening day heroics.
Rare Atom's pick of Inferno saw them start strong on their T side as the first gun round win helped them take control early on before two big rounds from Magisk and TeSeS saw Falcons tie up the opening half. NiKo denied kaze a 1v2 in the second pistol which saw Falcons run away with their T side. The Chinese team's closest chance to pick up a round was a 3v1 against NiKo but the veteran great's quintessential clutch saw Falcons hit map point and close the map at 13-6.
The Falcons' pick of Train was a non-starter for the Chinese team as kyxsan and TeSeS propelled the team to a solid 6-0 start. Rare Atom managed to claw back a couple of round but Falcons still ended up with a massive 10-2 lead. Pistol and anti-eco wins to start the second half from Falcons sealed the deal as Rare Atom conceded Train 13-2 and the series 0-2.
With this win, Falcons stay alive in PGL Bucharest 2025 as Rare Atom end their campaign after losses to G2, FaZe and Falcons. Falcons now sit in the 2-2 pool, just a single win away from clearing the group stage.
