Heroic backs out of Louvre Agreement

The team still retains their IEM Chengdu 2024 slot

Earlier today ESL took to X to announce that Heroic would be leaving the Louvre Agreement effective immediately, relieving them from future membership payments or instalments, revoking their revenue share rights.

The Louvre Agreement came into force in 2020 with 13 initial participants, granting them a major stake in ESL Pro League and several other privileges including partner slots. This partnership structure is however set to end in 2025 with tournament invites sent through qualifiers or world rankings.

Despite Heroic's immediate Louvre Agreement exit, they will still retain their partner slots at IEM Chengdu 2024 as well as ESL Pro League seasons 19 and 20.
