Grayfox sees off Crescent scare
Grayfox Esports started their Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 India Closed Qualifiers against Crescent, who had made their way from the Open Qualifiers and boasted of BENZENE, ELV1S, CycloneF and Catastr0phE.
The BO3 series kicked off on Overpass with Grayfox's latest signing ghostxD shining with 21 kills and an ADR of 107 which helped Grayfox draw first blood in the series with a 13-7 win.
Anubis saw Crescent start with a 8-4 lead on their T side as Catastr0phE and BENZENE powered up for a dominant opening half. On their T side, it was a dominant display from rite2ace and co. as they saw off Crescent at 13-11 with Marzil topping the scoreboard with 25 kills for Grayfox. Catastr0phE's 30 bomb on Anubis wasn't enough as Crescent fell in the final round of regulation.
