TheMongolz: A statistical look for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024
While the teams for the Playoffs of the inaugural CS2 Major, the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 have been confirmed, once again there will be no Asian teams at the playoffs.
TheMongolz though, fought valiantly in Copenhagen, making it to the top 16, becoming the first team since TYLOO in 2018 to do so and also helped get another Major spot for Asia for the Shanghai Major.
While TheMongolz's journey might have come to an end, we take a look at the Mongolian team's stats at the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 at the Elimination Stages.

Team Stats
If we look at the team-wise statistics, TheMongolz lie 10th out of the 16 teams with a 1.00 rating. The K-D Difference was also a disappointing -43 while their K/D was 0.91.
If we look at the FTU stats (Firepower/Teamwork/Utility), the numbers aren't good either. Their round win % was 46.6% with their opening kill percentage was 47.3%.
Conversions and teamwork
The team's multi-kill stat was a decent 0.82, which is better than the likes of HEROIC (0.68), Complexity (0.71) and even FaZe (0.80). TheMongolz weren't very clean after getting the opening kill as their 5v4 conversion rate was 69.4% which was one of the lower percentages amongst the teams.
TheMongolz had one of the lowest 4v5 conversion rates at 26.1%. The trade percentage, which is the calculation of the deaths that the teammates traded was 21.1%, which was also on the lower side.
Finally coming to their utility usage, TheMongolz had an ADR of 22.3 which included damage with HE grenades, molotovs and incendiaries. The Mongolian team's Flash Assists were at 0.20.
Pistol Rounds
Taking a look at TheMongolz's pistol rounds, it was an even performance with 5 pistol win rounds and 5 pistol loss rounds. They had an 80% conversion in the second round after the pistol win but their conversion after losing the pistol was at a low 20%, meaning that in the MR12 format, with the pistol loss, TheMongolz generally start with a big round disadvantage.
TheMongolz were the second-worst team on the CT-sided pistol with 2 round wins. Their pistols in general was an issue with them also lying one above the bottom spot on the T-sided pistol with a win percentage of 60%.
TheMongolz exited the Major with a 0-3 record winning 61 rounds while they lost 70 and ended with a -9 round-difference.
While it might not been the ideal performance in the Elimination Stages from the Asian team, the next Major is set to be a home Major for the Asian teams and with already an extra spot being booked, TheMongolz and other Asian teams will be looking to do better at the Shanghai Major.
