NAVI are the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 champions
The Grand Final of the inaugural Counter-Strike 2 Major - the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 had two of Counter-Strike's most recognisable organisations in FaZe and Natus Vincere (NAVI) take on each other. Both organisation had one Major in their bag, won in CS:GO and were looking to kick off CS2 in style.
The final kicked off on FaZe's pick of Ancient and while FaZe started with the pistol on their T side, it was NAVI taking a 7-5 lead. Impactful rounds from jL coupled with b1t and Aleksib stepping up saw NAVI not let FaZe find any footing on Ancient as NAVI picked up a 13-9 win.
Mirage was an absolute stomp from FaZe as NAVI could manage just two rounds with the duo of frozen and ropz powering up to make sure FaZe kept themselves alive in the Grand Final with a massive 13-2 win.
Mirage might have been FaZe regaining momentum in the series but NAVI weren't in any mood to let FaZe bounce back as on the decider on Inferno, they smashed FaZe to start with a 9-3 lead on their CT side before closing out the map at 13-3 to pick up the series 2-1.
With the series win, NAVI clinched their second Major title with Aleksib and his boys all picking up their first Major title except b1t, who won his second Major and also extracted revenge for NAVI's Antwerp 2022 loss.
