TheMongolz send ATOX home
TheMongolz keep Jönköping dreams alive
After suffering a shock defeat to LYG in their ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 Asia Closed Qualifier opening game, TheMongolz dropped to the Lower Bracket, where they faced compatriots ATOX for survival.
The series kicked off on ATOX's pick of Inferno, which played right into TheMongolz's hand and after a 7-5 start on their CT side, they closed it out with a strong T side finishing, 13-8.
Ancient was much closer as ATOX fought back, with the teams starting with a tied opening half with TheMongolz hanging on for a narrow 13-11 win to knock ATOX out and book their place in the Consolidation Final. mzinho topped the scoresheets on Ancient, dropping 29 kills with an ADR of almost 120 which helped TheMongolz get across.
