BetBoom takes down NIP

The second and final game of Day 4 of the Skyesports Masters 2024 was the upper bracket semi-final between Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were fresh off their dominating win over Gods Reign, and BetBoom.

BetBoom got NIP's pick of Nuke underway with the defensive pistol. Magnojez put BetBoom to an 8-4 lead following a 19 kill opening half. NIP answered back on the force in the second half after BetBoom picked up both pistols on Nuke and alex and co. brought it to a two-round game at 7-9. BetBoom denied NIP a comeback as they wrapped it up at 13-9 with Magnojez ending with 25 kills while KaiR0N- and zorte ended with 20 kills each in a dominating performance for the Russian team.

Ancient, BetBoom's pick, saw the Russian team secure yet another pistol and go 6-0 up before NIP finally got a CT round. It was all BetBoom in the opening half of Ancient though as they turned around two 3v5s to take a 9-3 lead. NIP fought back on their T side with BluePho3nix and r1nkle stepping up but BetBoom edged them out at 13-11 to pick up the map on the final round of regulation.

The win puts BetBoom in the upper bracket final against Aurora while NIP will face OG in the lower bracket semi-final.
