Cloud9 bench Major winning duo

After seeing electroNic sign for Virtus.pro, there have been further changes in the Cloud9 camp as they have announced that Perfecto and H0bbit have been moved to the bench and are available for transfer. With Perfecto and H0bbit moving to the bench, there are just 2 active members on the team in BoombI4 and Ax1Le. The organisation also announced that their Assistant Coach F_1N had left following a mutual agreement.

Perfecto had joined Cloud9 in July 2023 along with electroNic from Natus Vincere in a move which at the time signaled a super team formation move. Cloud9 have struggled though, with their AWP-er sh1ro leaving the team and have failed to make their no-AWP-er roster work. H0bbit has been with the team since April 2022 and has one title under his belt with the team, which is IEM Dallas 2022.

The team had a disappointing Major campaign this year and also had early exits at IEM Katowice 2024 and IEM Chengdu 2024.

Following the announcement of benching and putting Perfecto and H0bbit on transfer list, Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne stated that they are in a rebuilding process around BoombI4 and Ax1Le and will not disband.
