AEC Chengdu 2024: Preview
With the IESF's regional circuits coming to an end last month, the stage is set and except the Chinese qualifier slot, the other nine teams from India, Pakistan, Palestine, Lebanon, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Australis are locked in to battle it out at the Asian Esports Championship Chengdu 2024.
AEC Chengdu 2024 will start off in a round-robin format across two groups featuring five teams each. All group stage games are played in a bo1 setting with the top three teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. A single-elimination bo3 bracket determines five teams that move ahead to the World Esports Championship 2024.
WEC 2024, set to be a LAN event in Riyadh will host 24 teams across four groups in the group stage. After a round-robin cycle, top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs, where a single-elimination bracket accommodating 12 teams crowns the champions.
Playing under the Indian banner, Gods Reign wreaked havoc in the South Asian qualifier, taking down each and every team without a single loss to confirm their AEC Chengdu 2024 slot.
