TYLOO wins XSE Pro League 2024
It was home team TYLOO up against Mongolia's Chinggis Warriors in the Grand Final of the XSE Pro League 2024, with the Chinese team picking up an impressive win with their new lineup as it was their new signing Jee, who had a big performance in the Grand Final.
Chinggis Warriors started on the CT-side of Anubis with pistol and anti-eco wins. However, after conceding the bonus in round 3, Chinggis Warriors were pushed to their limits as TYLOO made full use of the T-sidedness of Anubis. Mercury and JamYoung's clinical precision netted TYLOO 10 rounds in a row as the home team locked in a 10-2 half and closed out Anubis 13-3.
Ancient saw a tied half opening half to kick things off before a stellar defence from the Mongolian team saw them stay alive in the series with a 13-8 win.
There was little to differentiate both sides initially on Inferno but Chinggis Warriors managed to slide a small 7-5 lead in their favor. Dropping just two rounds in the second half, Chinggis Warriors reached match point. With a five-round buffer working against them, TYLOO managed to climb back and tie things up at 12-12, pushing it into overtime. After another tie in the first overtime, TYLOO white-washed the second overtime, taking Inferno 19-15. Jee put up a jaw-dropping 35 frags for TYLOO with an ADR of 102 and a HLTV rating of 1.46.
Mirage was a one-sided affair as the Chinese team just ran through Chinggis Warriors, locking in a commanding 13-8 win to take the series 3-1 and win the XSE Pro League 2024 in front of their home crowd.
This is also the first LAN win for the new TYLOO roster, who had Jee being revealed as an official member of the roster, days before the event got underway. By winning the XSE Pro League 2024, TYLOO takes a prize money of $13,755 while second place Chinggis Warriors head home with a prize money of $4,126.
