thescoreesports calls Skyesports Championship 'Worst Counter-Strike Event'
In their latest social media clip on Instagram and Twitter, thescoreesports has labeled the Skyesports Championship 2024 as the "Worst Counter-Strike Event" in history. The video draws a comparison to the infamous Gaming Paradise event, suggesting that Skyesports Championship 2024 might have surpassed it in terms of disaster.
The clip highlights a series of problems that plagued the event, including PCs missing Windows, but with unrelated games such as Fall Guys installed. Other issues cited include broken tables, a leaking roof, frequent electricity and internet outages, and admins awarding round wins based "solely on vibes".
The Skyesports Championship 2024 was a $300,000 tournament held in Mumbai, India in July 2024, which saw 12 teams from around the world come to India to participate. Following a disastrous opening day, which included a host of logistical and technical issues and saw BetBoom withdraw from the event, the organisers went on to complete the event without any other hiccups which saw 3DMAX take down The MongolZ in the Grand Final.
