ATOX takes on FURIA in hopes of keeping Playoff dreams alive

After sending ENCE home from the ESL Pro League Season 20, Mongolian team ATOX have kept their Playoffs dreams still alive and ATOX take on FURIA today in another elimination game.

ATOX had a rough start to their ESL Pro League Season 20 campaign, as they suffered back-to-back 2-0 losses to Vitality and Falcons, which dropped them to the Last Chance Stage. ATOX almost took a map off Vitality in the opener, going down 11-13 on Inferno but following that, they lost steam and were hammered by Falcons in the second game.

In the Last Chance Stage, ATOX faced gla1ve's ENCE in the elimination game and the four-time Major winning captain and his squad were blown away by the Mongolians as they picked up dominating 13-3 and 13-6 wins to not only knock ENCE out of the event but also keep themselves alive.

ATOX now will take on FURIA, who went down to Virtus.pro recently, and its another elimination game. The Mongolian team already sent home a four-time Major winner and now it remains to be seen if they can send a two-time Major winner home. Should ATOX be able to get past FURIA, they will face the winner of the Falcons - RED Canids match in the decider for the final Playoffs spot from Group D.
