SemperFi claim eXTREMESLAND 2024 Oceania spot

SemperFi beat The Art of War

The Grand Final of the eXTREMESLAND Oceania 2024 Closed Qualifier kicked off between SemperFi and The Art of War with a spot in the main LAN event up for grabs as both teams had their task cut out.

Kicking off the proceedings on the T-side of Inferno, The Art of War capitalised on the T-side to notch 10 rounds. Without much resistance offered in the way, they secured a 13-7 win.

The second map took us to Anubis that saw a back and forth exchange between the two teams. Despite a 7-1 lead on the T-side for The Art of War, SemperFi tied the score at 7-7. They continued the onslaught throughout the T-side to take the game to the third map on the back of a 13-10 win.

The third map was Ancient where SemperFi once again proved their mettle on the T-side by securing a 9-3 lead. While The Art of War fought back in the second half, SemperFi managed to seal the deal with a 13-10 win.

The win sees SemperFi book their place in Shanghai for the eXTREMESLAND 2024 main event, which is scheduled to take place in January 2025. SemperFi become the fourth team to book their spot in the eXTREMESLAND 2024 with The MongolZ, IHC and ATOX already having secured their place in the $100k event.
