Skyesports AMD GameOn 2024: Open Qualifiers Day 2 Recap

The second day at the Skyesports AMD GameOn 2024 event saw the Open Qualifiers continue with four BO3 games taking place.

Here's a quick look at the results from the second day's action.

Niory Esports 2 - 0 E-Scalate Gaming

The opening game saw Niory Esports take on E-Scalate Gaming and it was a blow out as Niory smashed E-Scalate 13-1 on Mirage and closed out the series with a dominant Ancient, going 13-3 to take a comfortable 2-0.

Project Lethals 2 - 0 VTeK

Like the opening game, Project Lethals' game against VTeK was also a one-sided affair as Project Lethals started in style, to take a 13-0 on Ancient before almost repeating the feat on Anubis but dropped one round to go 13-1.

Griffin Esports 2-1 yatagarasu

Griffins Esports was pushed to the limit by yatagarasu on Dust2, which went all 24 rounds of regulation with Griffins Esports closing it out at 13-11 right at the end. Anubis was another back and forth affair which saw yatagarasu, powered by BLAZEraZER's 27 kill performance, keep themselves alive with a 13-11 win of their own. yatagarasu though, failed to keep up the momentum from Anubis as Griffin Esports ran away with the series on Nuke, taking a 13-7 win to close the series 2-1.

Addicted Indian Gamers 2-0 Unity Gaming

It was Addicted Indian Gamers starting the series strong with a 13-10 win on Mirage before closing out the series on Anubis, going 13-9, to wrap up the series 2-0 to take a surprise win.
