The Pride of Asia goes flawless in the Opening Stage

The MongolZ cement themselves as the best team in the Opening Stage

The MongolZ have done it. They have once again set a new standard for Asian Counter-Strike, stomping into the Elimination Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major with a flawless 3-0 record.

The final hurdle in achieving this feat was GamerLegion, whom The MongolZ faced in the 2-0 bracket. On the first map Mirage, The MongolZ, powered by a trio of mzinho, 910, and Senzu, posted 8 rounds on their T-side. And with just a single round conceded in the second half, nailed a 13-5 win.

The second map saw a similar tale, as The MongolZ once again unleashed on the T-side of Anubis with dominance. With 910 being 12-1 at one point of time, The MongolZ took 10 rounds on their T-side. To do one better this time around, The MongolZ didn't concede a single round to round out a 2-0 series victory.
