Rare Atom tastes victory in Shanghai

fnatic exit the Major with a 0-3 record

Rare Atom's hopes and dreams for progressing to the Elimination Stage has not come to an end, as they take down fnatic with a reverse sweep in the 0-2 bracket at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

The first map Ancient, fnatic's map pick, saw a promising start from Rare Atom, as they established a 8-1 lead on their CT side. However, that lead crumbled soon enough, as fnatic made the comeback to secure a 13-10 win on their map pick.

MATYS picked up on the CT side of Inferno, the second map, right where he left off on Ancient, as he helped fnatic gain a 6-0 advantage. However, ChildKing stepped up for Rare Atom, as he led the charge to propel a 13-10 comeback win.

The final map Vertigo, saw a different Rare Atom altogether, leading to one of the hypest moment in Shanghai, as Rare Atom took down fnatic with a 13-4 win. At the helm were three players; kaze, ChildKing, and Summer—whose crucial performances made the win possible.
