The MongolZ ascend Valve Global Ranking
The MongolZ came into the Opening Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai 2024 Major as one of the strongest Asian teams who could take down top European teams on their day and held true to the reputation with four out of the top five performers in the Opening Stage belonging to The MongolZ.
The MongolZ were up against G2 in the Elimination Stage of the Major in their first game. The Asian side outclassed G2 with their firepower getting the better of highly rated individual performers like m0NESY and NiKo. The MongolZ then went up against MOUZ, where 910's AWP took the game away from MOUZ.
After their flawless Opening Stage and initial Elimination Stage wins, The MongolZ's performance reflected strongly in the Valve Global Rankings on HLTV, propelling them into the world's top three. The MongolZ are now up against HEROIC in the 2-0 pool in the Elimination Stage of the Major just a single win away from becoming the first Asian team to make it to the playoffs.
