ATOX sticks the comeback against TYLOO

The upper bracket semi-final at the IEM Dallas 2025 Asia Closed Qualifier saw ATOX reverse sweep TYLOO to move two wins away from making it to IEM Dallas.

The series kicked off on TYLOO's pick of Mirage which saw the Chinese team's aggressive T side put them on a 9-3 lead and the second half pistol and conversion had put TYLOO on the way to the map win before a kabal 1v2 on a pistol buy kept ATOX in the game for a while longer. TYLOO though, made sure of not letting any comeback possibilities take place as a couple of impactful rounds from Jee right at the end saw TYLOO secure a 13-6 win.

ATOX started their pick of Inferno in the same manner as TYLOO started Mirage, with an unstoppable T side which saw the Mongolian side go 7-0 up before TYLOO could get on the board. An 11-1 half for ATOX saw them tie up the series with a big 13-5 win on Inferno to push the series to Ancient. Ancient saw ATOX's T side power them to an 8-1 lead before JamYoung's late impact salvaged the half for the Chinese team. ATOX though put up a solid defence to close out the decider at 13-7 to reverse sweep the series 2-1.

ATOX now moves to the upper bracket final while TYLOO drop to the lower bracket final. Both the teams will be in action once again today, shortly.
