Skyesports Souvenir 2025 National Championship announced as ranked event
Skyesports took to X announcing that Skyesports Souvenir 2025 will run as a ranked tier-2 event with no invited and an open qualifier. The main event will feature four teams and the only way to confirm a slot is through the open qualifier which will run a single-elimination bo1 bracket with qualification matches switching to a bo3 setting.

Skyesports Souvenir was initially set to be canned after Skyesports missed a couple of deadlines according to the tournament guidelines laid down by Valve and was on the verge of becoming an unranked event. Skyesports then announced that the tournament would return as a national championship.
Once the open qualifier concludes, four teams head into the main event which will be played on LAN at the Bengaluru GAFX 2025, a Gaming, Animation and Visual FX conference supported by the Government of Karnataka's department of E, IT and Bt.
The main event will take place at The Lalit Ashok from 27th February to 1st March 2025 and the format for the same is yet to be announced. Considering that the tournament runs for four days, a double-elimination bo3 bracket might be on the cards. Here's what we know about Skyesports Souvenir 2025 so far:
