PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025: Teams announced

Just over a couple of weeks away from PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, PGL has announced the teams that have accepted invites and will participate at the event. The MongolZ have bagged an invite based on the Valve Global Standings and will be the only Asian team at the event. Sixteen teams have been invited to the main event based on Valve Global Standings.

Starting on the 14th of February 2025, these sixteen teams will lock horns in a Swiss System format where all matches will run in a bo3 setting. The top eight teams will head into the playoffs where a single-elimination bracket determines who takes the lion's share of the $1,250,000 USD prize pool.

The event is set to be PGL's first event in 2025 and it follows right after IEM Katowice which ends on 9th February 2025. Here are the teams that will be a part of the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025:
