Rare Atom flummox TYLOO
In the second quarter-final of the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025, Rare Atom took on TYLOO. TYLOO secured a direct invite to the event where as Rare Atom were invited to the closed qualifier where they put up a flawless upper-bracket run. The series started on Inferno, where TYLOO outclassed their Chinese counterparts with a stellar CT-side showing.
Securing a 9-3 first half, TYLOO looked comfortable to take a 1-0 lead in the series but pistol and anti-eco wins from Rare Atom pushed the game forward. TYLOO conceded the first gun round, giving Rare Atom further leverage to farm rounds as the Ts waited for their economy to recover. Anything TYLOO would try to do, Rare Atom would be a step ahead with somebody or L1haNg often catching the Ts with utility in their hands.
In no time Rare Atom levelled the score at 9-9 and even after a couple of tac-timeouts nothing went in favor of TYLOO as Rare Atom put up ten rounds in a row on their CT-side to recover from a 3-9 deficit and win Inferno 13-9, completely breaking TYLOO's mental game.
The second map took us to Mirage where TYLOO started on the T-side and were instantly shut down by Childking and L1haNg in the pistol round. JamYoung's running Tec-9 3K nearly stole the anti-eco for TYLOO but Summer's M4a4 triple kill kept TYLOO at bay. Rare Atom maintained their dominance in the gun rounds, securing a massive 10-2 lead in the first half.
After Jee got crucial opening frags for TYLOO in their CT-side pistol round, Summer and kaze turned the tables, further dampening TYLOO's comeback hopes. Rare Atom ran down TYLOO with Mac10s in the anti-eco and then L1haNg's AK triple kill at match-point sealed the deal as Rare Atom took Mirage 13-2, eliminating TYLOO from BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025, emerging victorious in the Chinese derby.
