Dust2 comeback seals Skyesports Souvenir National Championship 2025 title for Gods Reign
Gods Reign kicked off their pick of Train going 5-1 up on their T side before a pistol buy win from Victores Sumus got them back into the half and kept Gods Reign's lead at a two-round gap. Victores Sumus had a golden opportunity to close the gap further but Bhavi helped Gods Reign secure the second pistol and it was the Gods Reign captain and R2B2 making sure Gods Reign kept it flawless on their CT half as they ran away with a 13-5 win.
Dust2 started with Victores Sumus' strong T side powering them to a four round lead at the break, which could have been more had it not been for Bhavi's Deagle salvaging a crucial retake on the B site. The second half pistol set up Victores Sumus for success as they ran away to a 11-4 lead but eight consecutive T rounds saw Gods Reign storm back into the map to hit map and match point first but Victores Sumus managed to pull it to overtime.
Gods Reign made the comeback stick as they kept it flawless in overtime to take Victores Sumus' pick 16-12 and close out the Grand Finals in a 2-0 manner, winning the Skyesports Souvenir National Championship 2025 without the dropping a single map in the tournament.
The Skyesports Souvenir National Championship 2025 is Gods Reign's first LAN trophy of 2025, their first LAN title with their new roster following bringing in Rossi. Gods Reign's win sees them take home a prize pool of INR 250,000 while Victores Sumus walks away with INR 150,000.
