HOTU come out ahead of Eruption in a nailbiter

HOTU secure a win at MESA Asian Masters 2025

In the wake of the disqualification of ATOX due to an ESIC ban, the second Upper Bracket Final of the MESA Asian Masters 2025 saw HOTU face ATOX's replacement Eruption in a Bo1 that took place on Ancient.

After losing the first two rounds of their T-side, Eruption went on six rounds streak to claim 8 rounds on their T-side. HOTU started their T-side with a streak of four rounds, and ended up tying the game in regulation.

It was Re1GN for Hotu who stood out as the difference maker, as he wracked up 32 frags boasting a 100+ ADR to close the game in overtime with a 16-14 win.
