Skyesports Pro League CS2 new dates announced

Through a post on X, Skyesports have announced important dates for their upcoming online tier-2 ranked Counter-Strike 2 tournament, Skyesports Pro League 2025. According to their schedule, the open qualifiers for the event commences in a couple of days time, on March 14. The change to the schedule though has the main event, which was initially supposed to be held on March 18 - March 19, 2025 will now take place on March 25 - March 26, 2025.

The open qualifier will run a single-elimination bracket with games starting out as bo1s. The qualification round (Ro8) will switch to a bo3 setting and send the top 4 teams to the main event. Registrations for the same can be done here:

Dates: 14/03/2025 - 16/03/2025

The main event which starts a little over a week (March 25 - March 26) after the open qualifiers will also run a single-elimination bracket but the matches are bo3s from the get-go, concluding with a bo5 grand-final. Skyesports Pro League CS2 will be a Valve ranked event, meaning which the results count towards a team's VRS placements, although being an online event would reduce the points up for grabs.

Skyesports Pro League CS2 2025 carries a prize pool of ₹1,50,000 INR from which the winner walks away with ₹1,00,000 INR, runners-up are awarded ₹25,000 INR and teams that finish in 3rd and 4th place receive ₹12,500 each for clearing the open qualifier.
