PGL also banned ATOX from their events

ATOX banned from ECL

The ban applies to future ESL events as well

In the beginning of March 2025, Mongolian team ATOX made the news for all the wrong reasons. The upcoming, Mongolian Counter-Strike roster was being investigated by ESIC for major code violations including match-fixing

ESL took to X, announcing that ATOX would be suspended from the ESL Challenger League Season 49. ATOX currently sit 4th in ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific table, with nine wins from 10 games and most recently cleaned up Gods Reign 2-0 in the last round of games they played.

The suspension also applied to future events organized by the ESL FACEIT Group until the investigation concludes. ESL mentioned that the case has also been referred to Valve.

"All matches that ATOX played (and were supposed to play) during ESL Challenger League Season 49 will be deleted, per ESL Pro Tour Counter-Strike General Rules" stated ESL in their blog post.

The section of ESL's rulebook concerned with the aforementioned issue states- “All matches involving participants that have left a stage of the event after it has started will be reset and deleted. In playoff brackets, the most recent or the next upcoming match (depending on the situation) of the participant will be considered a default win for their opponent.”
