Gods Reign complete the double over THE

f1redup finds form to lead from the front

Gods Reign closed out a strong series against THE in their latest round of games at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia Pacific, completing the double over the Russian team to pick up two big wins which will help them move up the standings, especially given ATOX's recent disqualification from various events.

Anubis, the playground for the second BO1 saw a d0RREN triple kill close out a quick B hit from THE to get things underway. After four in a row, it was finally f1redup's AWP that found impact to get Gods Reign's CT side going. It was f1redup with the Big Green and the rifle, making sure Gods Reign put up a competitive CT half to lock in five rounds. Ph1NNN and f1redup saw Gods Reign even out the pistols before the conversion against the eco saw the Indian squad quickly tie up the score at 7-7.

A quad-kill from Sange saw THE take the first gun round of the second half before f1redup's AWP along with Ph1NNN and Rossi, finding impact for Gods Reign to see them put up a strong T side. Gods Reign managed to close out Anubis at 13-10, with f1redup on top of the scoreboard with 20 kills while Ph1NNN and Rossi finished with 18 each.
