The MongolZ eliminate Liquid
The MongolZ kept their hopes of making it to the Playoffs in Lisbon alive as they eliminated Liquid from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 Group B lower bracket semi-final, picking up a 2-0 to send Twistzz and co. home.
Liquid started Anubis with a retake before a couple of trading of rounds on the force before The MongolZ went on a seven round streak to win the half. NertZ finished the half with a 1v2 on the knife and Liquid sealed both pistols on their pick but it was The MongolZ steamrolling away at 13-7 to kick off the series with a win.
Ancient saw a tight opening half with Liquid stealing a two round lead and their T side pistol win saw them quickly go on to tie up the game at 7-7. Crucial clutches from The MongolZ saw their CT half get going as they went on a four-round streak to hit double digits. It was clean from The MongolZ after that as they went on to take a 13-8 win to seal a clean 2-0.
