Complexity deny Danish comeback

Complexity take down ECSTATIC in the ESL Challenger opener

The ESL Challenger Melbourne kicked off with Complexity taking on ECSTATIC. The action kicked off on Nuke with Complexity on the CT side. It was the Danish team though, who took the pistol but Complexity bounced back on the force buy to tie things up early.

The early force buy conversion helped Complexity rack up 6 consecutive rounds in the first half, and eventually ended the first-half with a dominant lead of 12-3.

It was the Danes who managed to take both pistols though on Nuke but once again the North Americans broke through on the force buy but with kraghen and Queenix leading from the front ECSTATIC managed to string together a couple of rounds to mount a comeback. ECSTATIC eventually did manage to tie up the game at 14-14. hallzerk though, provided an important triple-kill on the 29th round and the Norwegian AWP-er closed out the map for Complexity with a crucial 1v2 clutch on the B site. hallzerk finished the game on the top of the scoreboard for Complexity with a total of 28 kills and 1.65 rating.
