Skyesports Masters: A Look at the table
As we head into the final week of the League Stage of the Skyesports Masters, three out the eight teams have qualified for the LAN Playoffs while the final spot is still being contested between two teams.
We take a look at the table and team's standings.
Marcos Gaming
Played 14 || Won 11
Table toppers Marcos Gaming have had a solid season, dropping only three games out of their 14. Marcos Gaming have been a force-to-be-reckoned with and their strong form makes them one of the tournament favourites. They've been stellar throughout the season and it remains to be seen if they can take their League stage form to the LAN playoffs.
LAN Playoffs - Qualified
Gods Reign
Played 12 || Won 9
Another team who have dominated most of their games is Gods Reign. A solid-core of five Indians who have been playing together for a while now, Gods Reign not only boasts of tremendous firepower but their experience in crucial moments will be a big factor going ahead into the LAN Playoffs. While they still have two league stage games left they have already qualified for the playoffs.
LAN Playoffs - Qualified
Revenant Esports
Played 13 || Won 9
Another strong Indian core team with Australian import gump, Revenant Esports had a slow start for the season but once they got going, there has been no looking back. With the likes of SpawN and f1redup leading from the front, Revenant have already booked their playoffs spot and have one final league game left.
LAN Playoffs - Qualified
Enigma Gaming
Played 13 || Won 8
With two Australians in Roflko and yourwombat, Enigma Gaming started the Skyesports Masters league stage with a bang, as they were looking like the team to beat. The team though suffered from a massive fall off during the crucial stages of the league and now have to depend on other results to book their LAN spot. Enigma Gaming are locked with 7Sea Esports for the final playoffs spot but they have one game less than 7Sea and will have to hope that 7Sea lose both their games while they themselves win their only remaining game.
LAN Playoffs - Pending
7Sea Esports
Played 12 || Won 7
One of the most exciting teams in the league with a promising young core lead by Bhavi, 7Sea have put in some stellar performances throughout the league stages. While they haven't had the consistency they would've hoped for, they're still in the running for final LAN playoffs spot and even though they lie fifth in the table currently, they have the upper hand over Enigma Gaming. 7Sea have one game in hand and their task to qualify is cut out - win both your games and you book your spot for the semi-finals.
LAN Playoffs - Pending
Reckoning Esports
Played 13 || Won 6
It's been a mixed season for Reckoning Esports. They brought in two Russian players to bolster their firepower but lack of time and preparation with the final line-up have hampered the team. While there has been a couple of strong performances, those have been too less which see the team lie towards the bottom of the table and out of contention for the playoffs spot. Reckoning have one game left in the league stage and will hope to end the season on a strong note.
LAN Playoffs - Out of Contention
Medal Esports
Played 13 || Won 1
Another team hampered by not starting with their final five, Medal Esports have secured only a single win in the entire league stage. With one game left, Medal will hope to at least end with two wins and bounce back stronger.
LAN Playoffs - Out of Contention
Velocity Gaming
Played 14 || Won 1
Velocity Gaming have had a season to forget. With just one win the entire tournament, they finish the first season right at the bottom as the team struggled to find synergy throughout the tournament. Multiple roster changes and the team also have spoken about ping issues multiple times, which have affected the team's progress.
