Media: zonic set to leave Vitality in shock move

In an exclusive interview with Dexerto, Vitality's coach zonic and their Head of Performance, Lars Robl has stated that they will be leaving the Paris Major 2023 champions and moving to Saudi Arabian esports organisation Team Falcons.

Regarded as one of Counter-Strike's greatest coaches, zonic has won five Majors and multiple other accolades with Astralis and Vitality. After a illustrious stint with Astralis, the Dane moved to Vitality in January 2022, helping the organisation win their first Major trophy, the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, which was also the final Major in CS:GO history.

According to Dust2.dk sources, Vitality asked zonic to take a pay cut before putting a new contract on the table, with his current contract ending at the end of 2023.

zonic and Robl are reported to join Falcons in November and them moving to Falcons showcases Falcons' vision of becoming a force to be reckoned with globally.
