KingPins, C0HESION stay alive for TE Gaming Cup 2023 Playoffs
The second Qualifier of the Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2023 saw the likes of Fire5 Esports, KingPins and C0HESION battle it out as they aimed to book their place in the Playoffs with Gods Reign and Marcos Gaming, who had qualified through the first qualifier. With the games being played on CS2, it was an even battle-field.
The opening round of games saw Fire5 Esports face Random5 and with the latter forfeiting the game, Fire5 got a easy win early on. FWB went down to C0HESION in their match up on Mirage as f1redup and the boys ran away with a 13-4 win.
Arcane Aces faced the exciting ROG Academy in their game and it was ROG, making quick work of Arcane Aces on Ancient with a 13-4 win.
Wasted Potential faced Dope Gaming in their opening round game and WP emerged victorious on Nuke with a 13-4 score-line.
After getting a walkover in their opening game, Fire5 Esports took on Legacy esports in the second round game and Legacy eSports walked away with a 13-6 win on Mirage.
Airavata Esports face C0HESION in their round two game and while it was a competitive first half on Ancient, it was C0HESION securing the map at 13-8.
The final game of the day saw KingPins take on ROG Academy and KingPins secured their spot in the top four, taking down ROG Academy 13-6 on Ancient.
