First major CS2 LAN not to feature s1mple

Natus Vincere (NAVI)'s talisman, s1mple will not be taking part in the upcoming IEM Sydney 2023 event, which will be the first Counter-Strike 2 LAN major event.

NAVI released a statement saying their coach B1ad3 will be standing in for the star AWPer as the world will have to wait a little bit longer to see s1mple make his CS2 official debut. There were no details given as to why the Ukrainian will be missing the event.

The roster will have jL pick up the AWP in s1mple's absence as Aleksib and co. looking to hit the ground running tomorrow morning against Apeks in their IEM Sydney 2023 opener.
