MOUZ concede Nuke, Overpass 1-2 to FaZe

Starting off on the T-side of Mirage, MOUZ managed to break through FaZe's CT-side, putting them at a 1-8 disadvantage. FaZe managed to claw back a couple of rounds towards the end, as MOUZ secured a 9-3 half in their favor.

FaZe showed great resilience in the second half, stringing up 6 rounds and neutralizing MOUZ's lead right out the gate. The game went down to the wire but MOUZ eventually secured the map 13-11, going 1-0 up in the series.

The second map took us to Nuke where MOUZ got off to a solid start again, restricting FaZe's T-side to just 4 rounds at half time. Being 4-8 down, FaZe put up a stellar CT-side with everyone stepping up. A 9-round win streak, saw FaZe reaching match point without conceding a single round on their CT-side and securing Nuke 13-8.

FaZe got off to a 4-0 start on Overpass but MOUZ caught up on their T-side, levelling the half with a 6-6 score line. FaZe came out all guns blazing on the T-side, tearing through MOUZ's defense. Dropping just 2 rounds in the second half, FaZe closed out Overpass 13-8 and the series 2-1.

With this win, FaZe are through to the semi-finals of CS Asia Championships 2023 and MOUZ will in the quarter-finals.
