GODS REIGN BAGS AUSTIN MAJOR ASIAN MRQ SLOT

Through a press release BLAST has now confirmed the list of teams eligible for Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and MRQ invites for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major. It is now official- ATOX has been removed from MRQ contention and the invite now goes to Gods Reign as the latter is set to put up maiden Indian representation at a Major qualifier.

While Team Wolf's run in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Indian Qualifier can also be treated as a Major qualifier to some extent, the Indian qualifier was a last ditch move after TEAM GLOBAL which was known as LGB eSports previously did not hold a full roster to validate their invite.

Gods Reign held the #13 spot in the Asian VRS, gatekeeping the top 12 and ATOX's removal pushed them across the line into the top 12. Gods Reign have been listed under the Mongolian MRQ invitee list alongside The Huns, Eruption and Chinggis Warriors. All teams in the Mongolian MRQ have frequently played against each other in ECL over the past couple of years.

Holding on to the #2 spot by a narrow margin, Rare Atom's position in the Asian VRS nets two Major spots in the Chinese MRQ. SemperFi, FlyQuest, ex-TALON and Rooster have received Oceanic MRQ invites. Sitting head and shoulders above the rest in the Asian VRS, The MongolZ have received a Stage 3 invite and will start alongside the likes of Spirit, Vitality, NAVI, MOUZ, AURORA, G2 and Liquid.

The Asian MRQ (Mongolia/West Asia) leading up to the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major will take place online on 15th, 16th and 17th April 2025. The qualifier will host a double-elimination bo3 bracket across four teams. The winner enters Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major. In the opening round, Gods Reign take on Eruption and The Huns take on Chinggis Warriors.
