Gods Reign pick up a crucial win against FengDa
Gods Reign resumed their ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific with a win and a loss as they faced Chinese squad FengDa in their round of games, with the Indian team picking up an important win.
The opening BO1 headed to Train, which has become a comfort pick for the Indian team in recent times. The Chinese team picked up the CT pistol but Gods Reign answered with the force which opened the chance of a strong T side but it was 3gl's AWP with impact as he powered FengDa to a 8-4 lead. The CT pistol for the Chinese team set them up for an easy win as they eased to 12-5 before the duo of Rossi and Ph1NNN made sure Gods Reign picked up seven rounds in a row to push it to overtime. A back and forth affair in overtime, eventually saw FengDa hold on for a 16-14 win with 3gl ending with 32 kills.
Inferno started with a trade of rounds as well, with FengDa picking up yet another pistol win as the Indian team had to answer with the force buy. Gods Reign finished their T side with four in a row, as R2B2 and f1redup helped Gods Reign take a substantial lead which they held on to, to secure a 13-8 win, with the Big Green from f1redup stepping up massively for the Indian team.
