Marcos Gaming stumble against Gods Reign

The second semi-final of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 India Qualifiers saw Gods Reign go up against Marcos Gaming.

The series opener was on Mirage as Marcos started with a strong 9-3 lead on their T side. Gods put together a couple of rounds on their T side, but Marcos closed it out easily at 13-6 with Mcg1LLzZz leading with a strong performance as he dropped 24 kills to top the scoreboard.

The second map was Overpass and it was Marcos with another strong start on their CT side at 8-4. A complete fumble from DEFAULTER and co. along with a strong CT side Gods Reign, saw them bounce back to take Overpass at 13-9 to take the series to a decider.

Marcos Gaming failed to turn up on the series decider on Ancient as Gods Reign ran away with a 10-2 lead to kick off their CT side and closed it out quickly at 13-2 to secure the series 2-1.

With the win, Gods Reign will now go up against Revenant in the Grand Final of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 India Qualifier and the winner will be booking their spot in the main event, where Aurora have already qualified through the EU Closed Qualifiers and will be joined by two other invited teams.
