ghostxD: 'I'm always up for new experiences and opportunities that make me grow as a player'

Following the report of ghostxD joining Enigma Gaming to replace Rider, Dust2 India had a short chat with the AWPer, speaking to ghostxD about joining the team.

ghostxD spoke about being grateful for the opportunity that he has received and also mentioned that apart from his skills with the big green, he believes that he brings a sense of calmness and composure to the team, which will help the team stay as a strong unit.

Speaking about how the move transpired, ghostxD said,

'I was with ace's plusW1 and we were doing fairly decent with the amount of practice that we had got. One evening, I got a call from the Enigma's manager saying that they were looking for an AWPer and asked what I was up to. Upon talking further about it with SpawN himself, I saw we had a mutual understanding of the game and had a similar goal in mind and I said, "let's do it". I'm always up for new experiences and opportunities that can make me grow as a player!'

He also discussed about the inconsistency amongst the teams in India following the switch to CS2.

'Let's be real, the scene in India is very inconsistent and I think everyone's trying to adapt, get used to the game itself and how the meta works right now. Of course, I'd want to dominate the scene and I know that can happen eventually, but the bigger goal is making sure we can compete against Tier 1 teams in APAC as well as other regions provided we ever get an opportunity to play! If everyone's putting in the effort, success takes care of itself.'
