5E Arena to shut down

5E Arena took to X to announce that they will be shutting down operations at the beginning of 2024 (01/01/2024). The Chinese giant has hosted various high profile Counter-Strike tournaments, including BLAST Premier qualifiers.

"After careful consideration, we have decided to focus on our core business in China and have sold our international business to a Singapore-based company."

5E Arena has been around for four years and are still hopeful that they can have an impact on the Counter-Strike community after their withdrawal from international businesses.

While all current data and material are set to be transferred over to their related partners, the Chinese version of the platform will still be up and running at https://csgo.5eplay.com.
