FIREDUP Gaming secures The Draft India Qualifiers Final spot

The first semi-final of The Draft Indian Qualifiers saw FIREDUP Gaming go up against iKaRi with not just a Grand Final appearance on the line but also a direct entry to the Group Stages for the winner.

iKaRi's pick was Vertigo which got the series underway and it was iKaRi starting with the opening pistol on the T side even though they started the map with a man disadvantage at 4v5. FIREDUP got on the board in the third round of the game with iKaRi still playing with four in the server. After tying up the score early on, iKaRi got the full roster online and quickly went on to retake the lead. A back-and-forth tech pause ridden opening half saw FIREDUP Gaming take an 8-4 lead.

FIREDUP secured the second pistol and dropped one round on their T side to close out the map 13-5.

On Mirage which was FIREDUP's pick, saw them start with the T-sided pistol. FIREDUP ran away to a 7-0 start before iKaRi salvaged the half at 7-5, in FIREDUP's favour.

FIREDUP picked up both pistols on Mirage and it was ChAmP leading from the front once again as FIREDUP won Mirage 13-8.

The win not only puts FIREDUP Gaming in the Grand Final of The Draft India Qualifiers but they also secure their place in the Indian Group Stages. FIREDUP Gaming now await the winner of Random5 and 2ez Gaming match to get to know their opponents for the Finals.
