Astralis sign new head coach

Astralis took to X, to announce their latest signing - OG's ruggah for the head coach's position. ruggah brings over seven years of experience as a coach and player having been a part of OG, OpTic Gaming and North.

As per a press release from Astralis, ruggah will take over coaching duties before 1st April 2024, ending his four-year run with OG, until which R0nic, the current assistant coach will take over coaching responsibilities.

ruggah has been a part of six Majors over the course of his career, two with OG and North and one each with OpTic and Dignitas.

"I am happy that we have come to an agreement with Casper, who, in addition to being a really skilled coach, comes with experience from the highest level. This is one of our priorities in the larger analysis work we have done around the requirements for a coach in Astralis and our culture, as well as the expectations we have for all members of our coaching team."
