SpawN explains why ex-Enigma missed Skyesports Grandslam
In a post on X, SpawN clarifies why the ex-Enigma Gaming roster had to miss Skyesports Grandslam 2024 Indian Closed Qualifiers. According to the in-game leader, Enigma was all set to play Skyesports Grand Slam Indian Closed Qualifier as one of 4 invited teams starting tomorrow, but a week ago, they were informed by the org that they were dissolving the CS2 roster.
The org offered the roster to play the event under their name, but the roster took the collective decision to decline, in hopes of exploring other options. However, with nothing coming to fruition, the roster ended up losing the invite slot reportedly to 2ez Gaming.
With the registrations for Open Qualifiers closed, the team was left with no way of taking part in the $50,000 tournament. The other invited teams, as per reports are Gods Reign, True Rippers, and Grayfox Esports. Joining them will be the 4 teams that qualified through the Open Qualifiers - Crescent, RETALIATION, Legacy Esports, and Accuracy Gaming.
It is such a devastating loss, missing one of the major tournaments of this year. Was excited to play with clouda again after ESFI but we have to wait for the next tournament
