Enigma Gaming step back from Counter-Strike

Enigma Gaming’s CS roster disbanded

In a conversation with Dust2 India, Enigma Gaming have confirmed that they’ve retreated from Counter-Strike and have let go of their Counter-Strike roster.

Earlier this month following the departure of BENZENE, Enigma Gaming’s ghostxD and Catastr0phE also announced their exit, with just SpawN and hattyg0D remaining with Enigma. Enigma Gaming have been forfeiting games in the ESEA Open Season 48 as they lacked a complete 5-man team. The organisation now have announced a complete departure from Counter-Strike, letting go of the remaining two players (SpawN and hattygOD).

Enigma Gaming’s ghostxD has found himself a new home at Grayfox Esports, led by rite2ace. BENZENE meanwhile has been playing with L.O.T Gaming in the ongoing Upthrust Gaming Fest Season 5.

Enigma Gaming were coming off of a LAN victory at Esportz Premier Series in January 2024 where they took down Marcos Gaming in the grand finals. Following that, the team took part in BLAST's The Draft and were one of the invited teams but failed to make it to the Super Six LAN stage.

While the reason for Enigma Gaming to step back from the Counter-Strike scene is unclear, the organisation hopes to bounce back and re-enter the scene sometime in the near future.
