Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 India Closed Qualifier Grand Final: Preview

It's the final day of the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 India Closed Qualifiers with the BO5 Grand Final set to decide which team will make it to the main LAN event in Pune from the Indian Qualifiers.

Legacy Esports, who have been unbeaten in the Closed Qualifiers, will face Gods Reign in a rematch of their opening day game with Gods Reign looking to dish out some revenge.

For Legacy Esports, it's been their foreign recruits, EeazyBoost and Resoluxe who have been doing the heavy-lifting for the squad, having pulled them across the line on multiple occasions. While the duo has been out-fragging everyone else, Legacy know that in a Grand Final, you need everyone to stand up and deliver.

One of Legacy's most worrying factors has to be Buntz. Legacy has played 9 maps across their 3 games and Buntz has crossed double-digit kills just once (10 Kills on Inferno against 2ez Gaming). While the remaining four has been pulling him along, in a final against experienced players, Legacy needs Buntz to do better.

In the previous meeting, Legacy Esports managed to 2-1 Gods Reign but Bhavi and co. have turned it around since then and a strong Lower Bracket run saw them storm into the Grand Finals. Gods Reign's captain Bhavi struggled on the opening day with his fragging but he was instrumental in the last two games and he has been not only calling the shots but hitting them too. With the trio of f1redup, reV3nnnn and Ph1NNN already in red-hot form, all of Gods Reign's pieces seem to be falling into place at the right time for them.
