BELCHONOKK: "Every tournament is important for us"
Aurora have touched down in Pune for Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 and their IGL BELCHONOKK spoke to Dust2 India about his thoughts and what they're looking forward to as a team.
When asked about their tournament favorites status and the challenges of facing new teams in new regions with little to no previous head-to-head encounters, BELCHONOKK termed it as an interesting experience, playing in a whole new region.
It's an interesting experience for us, it's like a whole new region. Everyone will play their game and see how it goes.
A man of few words, the Aurora IGL spoke about one particular team who can give them a run for their money and classified them as the strongest team against them.
It's Bad News Kangaroos. I think they're the strongest team against us.
BELCHONOKK also spoke with regard to the tournament's importance and how they see all tournaments in similar light. He also mentioned about a LAN in April which the team plans to attend.
For us every tournament is important, so we are going to try to win and probably go to another LAN in April I guess, not sure.
Aurora's opening match of Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 will take place tomorrow against Bad News Kangaroos, the winner of the Oceanic Qualifier.
