IEM Fall returns to Rio for a third time in a row
IEM has announced via a post on X that IEM Fall 2024 is set to be hosted in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The tournament is slated to be scheduled from October 7th-13th while the ticket sales will commence on April 5th.
Last year, it was Vitality who bagged the IEM Rio 2023 championship by defeating Heroic. In 2022, the IEM Rio Major witnessed Outsiders emerge as the winners, while the first spot once again eluded Heroic, who came second.
The $250,000 tournament will see a cumulative of 16 teams taking part, out of which 11 will receive direct invitations while the remaining 5 will have to qualify through North America, Europe, Asia, and South America Qualifiers.
The first Asia Open Qualifiers will begin on July 26th, while the second will be held on July 28th. Following that, the Asia Closed Qualifier is scheduled for August 1-2. You can register for the Open Qualifiers by clicking on the following links:
