Report: reV3nnnn to miss Skyesports Masters 2024

Gods Reign will not have their main roster

Dust2 India has learnt from sources close to the matter that Gods Reign's AWPer reV3nnnn will not be playing the upcoming Skyesports Masters 2024 tournament. It is learnt that the Indian player will miss out due to passport issues.

Dust2 India has learnt that former Marcos Gaming player ELV1S was an option for Gods Reign but the Indian team are looking at Dutch player yoom, who currently plays from Genk, to stand-in for them in place of reV3nnnn. An official confirmation from the team is awaited.

Gods Reign are the Indian representatives in the $350,000 online tournament after having qualified through the Indian Closed Qualifier. The event was initially set to be a LAN in Mumbai, India but Skyesports had to move it to an online event due to not being able to finalise a location. With the event moving online, Gods Reign were supposed to be flown to Serbia by Skyesports. Dust2 India has learnt that Gods Reign will be playing from Jordan after not being able to make it to Serbia.

This isn't the first time that reV3nnnn has missed out on an international event due to his passport issue as the AWPer also could not travel to BLAST's The Draft, which took place in February 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during which he was playing for Marcos Gaming, who eventually went on to win the trophy.
