Uncertainty with rosters at Skyesports Masters 2024
With Skyesports Masters 2024 all set to get underway later today, there is still some uncertainty amongst a couple of teams with regards to their rosters.
First of all, we have FORZE, who won the Skyesports Masters 2024 Europe Closed Qualifiers, benching their entire CS2 roster. recently The team though has been participating in the ESL Challenger League Season 47: Europe with stand-ins consisting of easy, SELLTER, tN1R, kelieN and spirit. It remains to be seen whether it will be the stand-ins representing FORZE at Skyesports Masters 2024 as well or not.
FORZE are in the server today against ENCE in the Skyesports Masters 2024 opener.
The second team without a finalised roster is Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP). NIP recently signed r1nkle as their fourth player and have been played with BluePho3nix in the ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier, as the team has not yet announced a permanent fifth player. BluePho3nix has stood in the for NIP on multiple occasions off later and we might see him again in the server against Gods Reign on 09/04/2024 in their Skyesports Masters 2024 opener.
And finally we have the Indian representatives, Gods Reign, who are playing the online event from Jordan after Skyesports failed to send them to Serbia as stated by the tournament organiser initially. Gods Reign's reV3nnnn was not able to travel with the team to Amman due to passport issues and Gods Reign are without a confirmed fifth for the event as of now. reV3nnnn himself stated that he will stand-in for the team should the team be not able to confirm a substitute but there has been no development on the matter yet. It was reported that Gods Reign were looking at Dutch player yoom as an option for reV3nnnn and ELV1S, the former Marcos Gaming member was also an option.
reV3nnnn will be at a disadvantage should be play from India, given the high ping he will encounter from the sub-continent.
There might be one more team without their main roster as OG's manager took to X to state that there 'might be changes', hinting at possible roster change for their Skyesports Masters 2024 game.
