Rare Atom send Lynn Vision home
After going down to TYLOO in their Esports World Cup 2023 Asia Closed Qualifier opener, Lynn Vision were battling for survival in the lower bracket matchup against Rare Atom, who had pushed TheMongolz to the limit in their opening game.
A confident Rare Atom started their pick of Inferno with a big 9-3 lead before wrapping things up at 13-7 as AhaNg stepped up for Rare Atom to see them go 1-0. Lynn Vision's pick of Anubis started with strong CT half from Lynn Vision as they kept things tied but Rare Atom put up a stellar CT half of their own to close the map at 13-9.
With the 2-0 series win, Rare Atom keep themselves alive and will take on TYLOO in the Consolidation final tomorrow. Lynn Vision meanwhile, who were one of the favourites and got a direct invite to the Closed Qualifiers, leaves the event without picking up a single map.
